Just got back from Charlotte. I was there visiting Nicci, my sister, Rhett, her husband, and my nephew Wyatt (how would one employ commas in that sentence?). A chance to eat well, clear my head, and ponder my responsibilities. In other words I ate at a fabulous Italian restaurant, played with my nephew, and wallowed in the pit of guilt, anxiety, and image-doubt that exists perpetually in the nether regions of my brain. long drives and sleepless nights you know... Anyways, at the end of every worry/anxiety session of course is my old favorite... the ever present Master's thesis, that ole jag... On this subject I know three things a) I should have gotten an MBA b) If I quit now I don't have to write a thesis and finally c)if I write this one in the same manner in which I wrote my collegiate honor's thesis, I won't come out the other end with all my gauges pointing in the same direction. I think I'll do something nutty and piss red for a while...

But don't worry too much about me... I counter this with brash self-confidence and my own special brand of mocking determinism.

On a lighter note, while in the lovely vale of Wingate, I read an interesting article about General Wesley Clark. He may run for president. Exciting isn't it? As you can see, the whole thing is a tad complicated, the General hasn't even declared his candidacy yet, but I get the feeling he will. Perhaps he's just waiting for the country to reach the right level of feverish desperation. The only thing that matters is that I think that if the General ran for office that he would have the best chance out of anyone to end the Curse of Bush. So I guess I'll throw my support behind him...... huzzah for us.

A thesis that hasn't been writen and a candidate who hasn't even declared... Life continues to please me with its humorous overtones.

I did get some laundry done tho....
