My Quasi-Office
My new little office is very odd. Its more of a cubby hole really. Technically I have four walls, but one of them is glass and I have no door. I've also just noticed that 2.5 of my walls don't reach the ceiling (I guess this thing was an afterthought). The only cool thing about it is the acoustics. If I'm standing in my doorway I can hear my tunes. Take one small step out of the office though, and the tunes fade almost completely. This is very key because as you know, in any office situation there are really two factors that will determine whether or not your sitting arrangement is acceptable. Acoustics and the hunched-back factor. Unfortunately my cubby fails the hunched-back test with flying colors. My glass wall gives anyone walking by a free show, and my back is to the glass wall/doorway. I've already had one co-worker sneak up on me and proclaim "blogger" in a sing-song voice... I find that distressing and its clearly a feng-shuai violation. Someone's probably watching me write this right now....
