Fuck this for a lark
Every feel like you need a new beginning?, a new locale? Feeling penned in? Yeah, well that's all bullshit. I've done some traveling and I've started over. The first was the most exciting. I was just a little kid. I have a vivid recollection of riding in the back of my family's station wagon on our way to Alabama. It was a clear night and I remember lying down and watching the stars. It was beautiful and the clarity with which I viewed the night's sky combined with it's constant nature led to thoughts of my future. I was thinking about this change, this new place and wondering what it would bring. I was excited, eager for a fresh start. It was the same the next time and even the time after. But after a while you realize that starting fresh just means losing every thing you've got. Starting at 0. It sucks and its tiring. The weird thing is I can't really see myself staying anywhere. Now that I'm on my own, I never feel any permanence. Every time I think about something new I think about what a bitch it'll be to get rid of it when I leave. Just a phase probably... No doubt brought about by badly cooked food. On top of everything else I just realized tonight that I'm a shit cook... oh well....
