What a lousy weekend, I got one thing done. One. I managed to frame a Chinese Communist propaganda poster that looks like dad. Freaking exciting. The rest of the time I just sat around and amused myself. Lame?

Saw Jungle Boys and Black Sheep last night at Cat's Cradle. They were ok but my favorite part of the night was seeing a completely instrumental band do a twenty minute medley of popular beats. Does that mean I'm getting old? The embarassing part of this equation is that everyone at work today has been asking me about the club's stamp on my hand. Explaining to people at work about the club you went to on a Wednesday night for a hip-hop concert is rather awkward. I had the VP of administration ask me point-blank if I like that "kind of music". Never a good sign. The reason for the jaunt is the departure of Tony Bull a friend of mine from SILS moving away. He's going to go live in Vienna with his girlfriend. He's bilingual and may work for the UN...
Yeah... Well. I can still spin a basketball on one finger...

Another day another dollar. Lately I'm starting to come to grip with the fact that I simply don't have enough time to work on all my projects. There so much that I want to do and not enough time. Well enough tired cliches. Tonight I will have to remember to work on something worthwhile instead of watching tv. arrrghh TV is evil! I need to work on my Masters, Resume, Chinese, Book, etc.... Life would be so much simpler if I was rich or an idiot.
BTW I saw Tift Merritt in concert the other day. She was pretty good. Voice was akin to a young Emmylou Harris or at least that's what they say. I tend to agree.

Well. Well. So this is blogging. Here's hoping I don't expose myself as a weirdo.
My first blog ever and I'm writing this at work, so you know this entry is going to be a little morose... Yesterday on June 18th I realized that eight months of working here has finally broken my spirit. Like a co-worker said, "The faster I work, the more work I have". Combined with the fact that I'm barely running this show with the few peanuts they toss me, makes me, a tad apathetic about the whole thing. I need a new job/life.
